Mess Hall

Mess Hall

868 SQ FT | Harlem

Beginning with a façade punctured by a glass garage door and ending at a sunken patio in the rear, the clients of this project asking us to create a fun, intimate space where people would feel at home. Classic details like custom hex-tile signage, chair rails, and green wainscoting are complemented by the clients’ eclectic décor. Seating in the narrow space is maximized with picnic tables in the front paired with bar seating that opens up to the exterior, via the garage door, during the summer. Clever arrangement of the kitchen and embedded bar area allow for additional seating and a dart board area towards the back.
